By accessing or using Fitabyte, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Fitabyte provides browser-based utilities for file compression, screenshot redaction, product-photo preparation, image-text translation, and file inspection or conversion. Features, supported formats, limits, and availability may change.
3. Your files and permissions
You retain your rights in files you use with Fitabyte. You are responsible for having the rights and permission needed to process, translate, modify, or share them. Do not use the service with content that is unlawful, infringes rights, violates privacy, distributes malware, or abuses the service or its providers.
4. Backups and review
Keep the original file and a reliable backup. Compression, conversion, OCR, translation, redaction, and extraction can produce imperfect or incompatible results. Review every output before publishing, submitting, relying on it, or deleting the original.
5. No professional advice
Fitabyte does not provide legal, medical, financial, security, compliance, or professional translation advice. Do not rely on automated output for safety-critical, legal, regulated, or high-stakes decisions without qualified review.
6. Third-party services
Some features depend on third-party hosting, translation, analytics, advertising, or content-delivery services. Their terms and policies may also apply. Fitabyte is not responsible for external sites or services it does not control.
7. Availability and warranties
Fitabyte is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular compression ratio, perfect translation, compatibility with every file, or error-free output.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fitabyte and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost data, revenue, opportunity, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Suspension and changes
Access may be limited when necessary to protect the site, users, providers, or legal compliance. These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date.
