A LITTLE GUIDANCE

Three steps. One less task.

  1. 01

Open your screenshot or image and choose a gradient swatch.

  2. 02

Adjust padding, corner radius and shadow while checking the preview.

  3. 03

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and export the framed image.

Good to know

Padding gives your image breathing room. This tool adds a surrounding background; it does not remove a subject's existing background. Start with a transparent image if you need a cutout subject.

Frame a screenshot with a soft gradient background

This tool places the whole source image on a gradient canvas with rounded corners and a shadow. Padding is added on all four sides and is calculated from the source's longer dimension, so increasing it also increases the final width and height. Choose from the six available gradient backgrounds.

The source image is not cut out of its existing background. An opaque photograph retains that background, and the rounded image card has a white backing. The finished frame is opaque even when exported as PNG. For a listing that requires a plain white canvas or exact dimensions, use MarketReady instead and check the marketplace's requirements.

A few things you might ask.

Does this remove the background behind a person or product?

No. It adds a decorative frame around the complete picture. It does not detect a subject or remove pixels from the source background.

Why does a large screenshot fail after I add padding?

The added border increases the output dimensions. Image outputs are limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 pixels on either side. Resize the source or reduce the padding before trying again.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

This tool processes files on your device. Moving a file between Fitabyte tools uses a one-use browser handoff that expires after 10 minutes; abandoned handoffs are cleared on your next visit. Your original stays unchanged.

Can I use this tool on my phone?

Use a current browser and keep the tab open during processing. Available memory and processing speed depend on your device; start with a smaller file for large PDFs or video.
