Rotate PDF Pages Online
Rotate PDF pages by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Fix sideways scans and download an upright copy from your browser.
Let’s rotate pdf.
Add pdf files to get started.
Three steps. One less task.
- 01
Open the PDF and check whether all its pages need the same turn.
- 02
Choose 90°, 180° or 270°.
- 03
Export and review the orientation of every page in a PDF reader.
Good to know
Rotation changes orientation without cropping the page. Review documents containing mixed portrait and landscape pages. A 180-degree turn fixes an upside-down scan.
Rotate every PDF page without rendering it as an image
The chosen rotation is added to each page's current rotation, so a 90° turn on a page already rotated 90° results in 180°. All pages receive the same turn. The processor updates page rotation rather than rebuilding the pages as JPEG images.
There is no individual page selector or fine-angle straightening control. For a mixed-orientation document, extract the pages that need the same correction, rotate them, then merge and reorder the parts carefully. Existing text and pictures are not rewritten just to make a sideways scan upright.
A few things you might ask.
Can I rotate only page 3?
Not directly on this page. Extract page 3, rotate that copy, then use Merge and Reorder PDF to reconstruct the document in the correct sequence.
Does rotating make a scanned PDF searchable?
No. Rotation changes orientation, not the document's text layer. A scan that contains only images still contains only images after rotating.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
This tool processes files on your device. Moving a file between Fitabyte tools uses a one-use browser handoff that expires after 10 minutes; abandoned handoffs are cleared on your next visit. Your original stays unchanged.
Can I use this tool on my phone?
Use a current browser and keep the tab open during processing. Available memory and processing speed depend on your device; start with a smaller file for large PDFs or video.
